its been a holiday of firsts...never really thought it wouldend so soon... seemed like the days would stretch on forever, laughing andeating out with friends, exploring new places, experiencing new and unfamiliaremotions...but it really has come to an end, hasnt it?

for me, i still have another week...but since its usyd oweek, it just wont be the same like the weeks before. i can still recall thatmoment of happiness, "pens down", my last HSC exam - english extension,sighs of relief, people jklingly bagging me out for having no more exams whilstmost still had chem or legal or bio or whatever else that was left to studyfor. didnt really know what to expect, was shocked, i mean 4 months ofnothingness... what i had always dreamed of, what had caused me to envy thegraduating class in the years gone by.

even though things may not have turned out as i have liked to, even though iseem to be back to where i was at the beginning in some ways, but drasticallychanged in another sense...i survived the best i could, which anyone would. friendshipshave bloomed...other(s) withered away into dust...the past 17 to 18 yearsalmost becoming a distant memory.

to those friendships that are only a shadow of what theyonce were, the smoke that remains after a flame has died away;  its notthe end, maybe one day we can appreciate each other's company like we once did.
