so another year has (almost) passed.

I suppose its time for one of those reflective/contemplative entries to wipe the slate clean, leaving it fresh for whatever the next year has to bring. Only a few more weeks until 2007 ends - a year where the class of '06 left the sheltered world where people, routine and environment were certain and predictable, where the years beyond held hope and excitement, where each of us promised that friendships and life as we knew it would not end, but simply would be adapted to the wider scope of the "real world".

So the past few weeks, maybe even the entire the past year, can not be said to have any clear definition. Days merge into one another, time slows, quickens its pace, becomes ignored altogether. Moments in time strung together, pieces put together then broken apart, smiles mark their presence before being replaced.

After exams, havent been doing much - just the usual: shopping, eating (maybe too much of it because i think im spending more than what im earning ><), bumming for days on end basically going out for the sake of being out, rather than at home. Working - which is relaxing especially if no students show up, meeting up with friends who are overseas for these holz. December also meant alot of bdays - dots(which I hope she liked our present and our card - lol even though i wrote ur message right in front of u), and mius where i got to see people i havent seen in ages. It was nice - just simply being surrounded by people uve become so comfortable and familiar with after 6 yrs of being together, catching up with those uve kindof lost the closeness u had with in skool. Makes u feel nostalgic. Not that this past year hasnt been eventful, it sure has (as some ppl may know), but sometimes its nice to know that things havent changed as much as you thought they had.

you're right my love.

things have changed this year, but some things have just stayed the same and it's nice to know you can return to the comfort of those.

Hello Ms. Leanne,
I like to write articles about Jehovah God. I want to help people to really get to know God, especially in these troubled times. Here is His important message from the Bible: "...I am about to shake up everything, to turn everything upside down and start over from top to bottom - overthrow governments, destroy foreign powers, dismantle the world of weapons and armaments, throw armies into confusion, so that they end up killing one another." (Haggai 2:21,22) (MSG)
